MemoRama — Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains how the MemoRama iOS app ("MemoRama", "we", "our") handles your information. MemoRama is published by Balzer Consulting, Switzerland.
The short version
MemoRama does not collect personal data, and your photos never leave your iPhone unless you choose to share the resulting PDF.
How MemoRama uses your photos
When you use MemoRama, you grant the app access to selected photos in your iOS Photo Library. MemoRama uses those photos solely to compose a PDF photo book on your device. Photo data is not uploaded to our servers, not stored outside the app, and not shared with third parties.
Photo metadata
MemoRama reads each selected photo's capture date so it can sort photos by date and display the date under each image in the PDF. This metadata is processed on-device only.
Sharing the finished PDF
When you tap Share, iOS hands the finished PDF to the system share sheet (iMessage, Mail, AirDrop, etc.). What happens next is governed by the destination app or service — MemoRama is no longer involved.
Data we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or location.
- We do not upload your photos.
- We do not run third-party analytics SDKs.
- We do not use advertising identifiers or tracking SDKs.
Subscriptions
MemoRama offers a 2-week free trial; continued full access requires a paid subscription. Transactions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We receive aggregated, anonymised purchase reports — no names, emails or payment details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
Crash and diagnostic data
If you have opted in to share diagnostics with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may send us anonymised crash reports. These contain no personal information.
Children
MemoRama is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date at the top and announce the change in the app or on this page.
